How many of you geezers does this resonate with? 
When I was a kid, the Marshmallow Fluff used today for Smores and Rice Crispies Treats, was used for making peanut butter and Fluff sandwiches. There was a TV commercial with a catchy tune that was in B&W, and later filmed in color. This is the version I remember.

Not sure when they quit showing it, but it seems to coincide with emergence of the adult film industry. I can imagine the meeting at the Durkee Mower BOD when this came to their attention.
In the "Jizz Biz", there is a girl that is hired to keep the male talent "ready to go" between takes. She is known as a "Fluff Girl", or "Fluffer" for short. If she is a little too good at her job, you end up with what came to be called a "Fluffernutter" for obvious reasons. Probably coined by someone who ate the sandwiches as a kid.
The sandwich is still listed on the website as one of the uses for Fluff. No mention of the commercial though in the FAQ's, or why it went away.

A group of Little People have formed a tribute band to Kiss, complete with makeup and platform boots.
As you might expect, the name of the band is "Mini Kiss".
They are in the Guiness Book as the worlds shortest male band.
