Another clue: I think it would be EMP - proof. :)
I wonder about this because the condensor attached to this is basically a capacitor.

Fun Fact: Chevy six-cylinder points will also fit a Harley Davidson! :) Back when electronic ignition first came out on HD, converting back to points was the thing to do so you wouldn't get stranded... ;)

When the EMP happens, and nothing works... having a phone or computer you carefully shielded in a Faraday cage is pretty worthless.

Or having an old car with zero electronics. Where will you go? The minute that the have nots observe you, they kill you and take it.

If the SHTF... and it's a worst-case scenario, stealth is your only friend.

Or a submarine.

Or a submarine.
Indeed. But then you have to learn how to drive one and not hit anything. :).

Speaking of that, I once bought a ticket for one of those submersible rides. We were not terribly deep but it's still a strange feeling to be sitting in a plastic bubble tooling around under the water. The engineer in me started wondering how much pressure that Lexan could handle.

First you have to find a junkyard that has a six cylinder Chevy from the 1960's . The local Autozone wont have it in stock. Besides, the guy behind the counter will be dead from radiation. Those pesky gamma rays that usually accompany a hand-made EMP are lethal.
