Gotta be a geezer to remember this far back, but there's a few of us here that will get it...

On this day in 1969, Ted Kennedy drove off the Dike bridge at Chappaquiddick. If he only owned a VW, he'd have been President...

I don't care who you are, but that photo of Hunter with a fag hanging out the side of his mouth is funny as hell. Perfect mug shot to summarize the man. It should be his booking photo!
Don't think I've heard that term since I was stationed in the UK back in the early 1980s. Had to learn to reply to the "fine young bird" asking me, "Have you got a fag?" with, "Sorry, I don't smoke!" 🤣

Later when she asked, "Will you come knock me up in the morning?" My confused reply was, "Why wait till the morning!" 🤣

Two people's separated by a common language is not quite accurate in many circumstances! 🤠

Yep, it was a test here to see how many folks might come out of the woodwork who maybe lived overseas for a period of time. My roommate over there called me simply: "Yank". That was my moniker and name.

But, it wouldn't be accurate with another recent royal family that also lived off public housing in the White House. If I said, , "but that photo of Barry with a fag hanging out the side of his mouth is funny as hell", it will have an entirely different meaning. ;)
Big Mike comes into picture.
