I believe EVERY candidate for ANY office in the US should show they are a marksman or markswoman. Or at least cook some bacon with a gun... ;) This older VIDEO makes me think the Senator needs to cut down on it... :D (eating bacon, not shooting)

So, before Bill's fall from grace, he hosted "You Bet Your Life".
This lady was a contestant on the show and her dim wittedness made for comedy gold.
Her references to "North" and "Due West" are accurate. I think though that someone played a joke on her in her youth that she never got when saying North was X miles East of Due West.
Anyway, Bill seems like he's emulating Abbot and Costello's "Who's on First", but she's too dense to realize it.
