I have only had to use it a couple times at one resort where we attended an annual conference.
I find it less convenient, especially when it's time to retrieve the car and the valets are busy. The last time we waited for over 15 minutes.
This year when it's time to go again, we will stay elsewhere. We found a place with a much nicer room for less money and it's only a 15 minute drive to the resort, and free breakfast with made to order omelets. And no valet parking.
 
Wow, just wow... The only thing missing is the bolts in the neck.

Yeah... exactly... one of many reasons I avoid valet parking.
