This video is long, but pretty darn interesting. I've skipped forward to where the bullets begin colliding together. There are three key points in the video highlighted below. Each starts at a different point in the video to save you time.

On one of the attempts, the bullets collide together and stop in mid-air because they meet flush and face-to-face.
It's worth watching for that moment!

Indexed forward to when the bullets begin colliding:

Bullets stopping in mid-air (CRAZY lucky!)

And here's the link to the beginning if you want to watch how these two guys setup this whole process.

And, if that wasn't enough here's @Racer88 's hilariously funny video of an Elephant Gun firing into Ballistic Gel in slo-mo at 80K frames per second.

I'm a huge fan of the Smarter Every Day YT channel hosted by Destin Sandlin and I'd actually posted that video on another forum last month. Perhaps I should have come over and posted it up here, as well, but glad you beat me to it! As a long-time member of the DoD test and evaluation community (35+ years until retiring last Dec), including instructing for 17 years, it was Destin's involvement of several professional T&E SMEs on his team and their design of that experiment that really impressed me the most. Really, really well done experiment and excellent video documentation! (y)(y)

My father would have liked this video. With several patents in radar technologies during his life, he served in the Air Force and was a radar expert both while serving and working in the private sector as contractors. He had high level security clearances and his developments and work has probably helped in various skermishes around the globe and also with our nation's security.. Later in life he was working privately on a project involving radar systems for bullets and evaluation of ballistics, so this video would have been right up his alley.
