This was actually my first one, and I kept it as a stock for over a year.
Bouncing name idea and I decided on "Casper"
Worst idea ever~ Now every night I'm thinking about what/how I should do
The main goal was to do DIY without outside services.
Many sleepless nights of learning how to Electro Etch and Stipple.
Took a while to get comfortable trying on a build.
After many months of practiceā¦
My latest first built
Tips ordered - Basketweave, rectangle, slat, oval.
After many attempts on different stipple tips and patterns.
For me, the oval tip was the best result.
Without sandblast or media blaster, sanding by hand and Dremel was the longest process.
I was going for "MOONER APPROVED". Couldn't fit. Figure checked sign was good enuf.
Took a while to stencil these out by hand... what can I say I'm cheap
My first one with serial "...1901" I do love Acss Vulcan~~~

JG's OEM shoe that has been drilled and tapped for pre-travel reduction
Changed front and rear sight to Swampfox mid-height.
Polished beaver tail and trigger finger area.

The stencils cut by hand are exceptionally clean. I'm fully impressed !
