My wife knows almost every gun made. She knows, with a glance, if I changed the grips on a gun.

Fortunately, she isn't very concerned about my purchases. It kind of takes the fun out of slipping a new one in and has curtailed my buying to truly interesting guns.

Neither is mine. In fact, lately she's the one buying me the interesting / fun guns!

Watches, not a clue. I get away with a lot there. Maybe.

I think my wife has just given up - not that she was worried in the first place. I like to say, "It's cheaper than drugs, booze, gambling, carousing, and divorce!"

To get it on back on track, I think I will have a chance to take my Combat Armory slide and barrel combo to the range this week. We shall see if the barrel fouls out fast or shoots itself smooth. I need to pick up some foaming bore cleaner while there. That stuff does a number on copper fouling.

This is the non blemish G19 barrel

Curiosity got me and I ordered an on sale but not blem barrel. The lands are slightly smoother but not much. The grooves are mirror bright. It fits a little tighter in slide.

Still need to get to the range. Now I have two barrels to test.

That rifling looks a little better than the blemished I guess, but not much.

The new non blemish in these pics is stainless. I tried enhancing the pics so you could see the barrel interior but it made them look gray.

oh ok, I didn't know they sold the unfinished/uncoated barrels, other than the blemished ones.
