I'll start it off with this one. Folks flipping their cars on one of the turns on the famous Nurburgring course... in the 1970s. No seat belts! "We don't need no steenkin' safety!" YIKES!

Not an SS but I still own an 09 Pontiac g8 gt which is also a Holden.
6L V8.
Anyone asks I just say it's a 6.
They assume 6 cylinder.
Sadly, we had a 45 minute hail storm and it totaled the car.
But it was still driveable enough. Just beaten so bad with hail it just looks dirty.
I drive it to work when it's not gonna snow.
It really did deserve a bunch of power adders and customizing but not worth it as a hail job.
