Life really WAS better (and simpler) in SO many ways in the 70s and 80s. I was lucky to grow up in that era.

I would say the 80s and 90s were the best decades for me. Consider that when I was in the Persian Gulf (Operation Desert Shield), I had MORE CERTAINTY than I have right now.

Actually, happiness is the byproduct of achievement.

Just look at anyone when they have successfully completed a challenge.
Any football player upon making a TD.
Any baseball player upon making a HR.
Any race car driver upon winning the race.
And for this crowd, the feeling of satisfaction you got upon successfully completing your first build. 😁

I guess for the swamp ass couch potato crowd, the game controller just doesn't hit the same. :rolleyes:

I read somewhere that there is an actual sense of emptiness when a gamer finishes all levels of a game. As in "now what do I do..." :unsure:
