I would imagine waivers were signed for your car (and you in it) to appear in a music video. "Ballerinas are going to be dancing on my car? No problem!"

I have one a long time ago. Great for ventilation while going 80 down the interstate. Other than that it was just another window for the sun to shine in and make your seat hotter than hell.
