Hello. I have this AR15 drum in the pics I’ve posted that is apart in pieces. Anyone know how to put these things back together? Or anyone have a link to a resource or an article or video or pdf or something that explains how to do it? I’d love to get it back together. Thanks.

You just HAD to take it apart, didn't you? ;) Did it go "SPROING!" when you did?
Without it in front of me I can't offer much help. I know it's not a MagPul but maybe you could get instructions from them? Theirs might be similar...

Yeah unfortunately I’m not sure what brand it is. I’ve had it for a while. I’ll check magpul. I had to give it a shot, it was all jammed up and only getting worse. Idk what was wrong with it. Thanks for the magpul tip though.

Yes it did sproing lol. I guess I’d call it that anyways lol.

Also, it looks like maybe it’s this one. What do you think? AR 15 - 100 ROUND DRUM - AJ295
I don’t see a brand listed though

Korean drum. You are SOL looking for instructions.

It shouldn't be that difficult to reassemble. The trick is getting the springs and cogs on both drums properly tensioned. Then holding that in place until the cover goes back on. Look for a hole somewhere on the frame that might allow a dowel or metal rod to be used as a tool for maintaining that tension when assembling. Otherwise you'll need four hands.

If it makes you feel any better... it's likely a 15 year old Korean girl named Min-Chee working for 20 cents an hour 12 hours a day assembled that drum at the factory. She cranks out one every three minutes. :)

That’s the only thing. I’m not sure how to put everything together in the right order/properly. I was hoping to find a diagram or something. Or maybe an exploded diagram. I know, I’m a bit derpy😁🤷‍♂️. Thanks for the reply though. I might give it a shot anyways, just like you said. Much appreciated.

Those look good for introducing malfunctions. Why use a simple and reliable box mag when you can add lots of moving parts to collect dirt and debris, which will eventually cause a malfunction. These malfunctions usually occur at the worst possible time!

I try to keep things simple when it comes to firearms. Mainly a reliability thing in my mind. My guns may not be the coolest looking with the latest gizmos, but they do go bang each time the trigger is pulled.

Hope you like puzzles, OP. Looks like a fun one, there.

Amen brother. The worst sound in the world is a click and no bang.
