Not bad, really. I'm not big on the "Spartan" theme, though. If it was more of a patriotic / USA theme... more my style.

Funny thing... I'm not really a "gold guy." But somehow, this building thing pushed me in that direction.
 
My guns are shooters. There comes a point where a gun is too nice / too expensive to scratch up at the range. So, generally I'm not interested in safe queens or "BBQ guns." But they can be nice to look at!

Ultimately, I want to shoot a gun.
 
Depends on your interests. I have bottles of wine that I bought 10 years ago. Guns I rarely shoot. Antique motorcycles I seldom ride. I shoot a lot. More than most people. But I also like to collect things.

My wife when we were first dating: So, you worked like a dog for 20 years to surround yourself with these things you like to look at
Me: Yep. That sizes it up pretty well. You are one of those things I like to look at. It took me a long time to find a girl like you.
 
Well... I collect things, too. Watches. Knives. I've got many knives I've never carried. But I WOULD carry them. But I find one I like and I carry it a long time. I also have guns I don't shoot much. But I'll shoot'em.

I just like having them, too.

I used to think that way. I got a Colt MK IV Series 80 officers model that I slapped Ivory grips on that I plan to fire very little. I got a 1911 from CMP that I have no plans to fire. Also bought a AO 1911 Trump 45 with no plans to fire. I have an M1 Garand on the way from CMP (won in a raffle) that I likely will not shoot. I've built a couple of things that I have put in that category as well. In short, I have so many others I can shoot it doesn't matter. Not throwing barbs at your perspective and respect where you are coming from. I just happened to cross to the dark side ;)
