Beautiful weather today.

I took the .40 Glocks out again, this time with the newest addition G29. Ran thru 300 rounds . I stuck exclusively to metal: The dueling tree, Texas star and plate rack (6). Oddly, I did the best with the new G29, aka Mr Stubby. I have been lazy and not doing a lot of shooting because I fucking hate cold, wet weather. I needed to get back in the groove.

Shooting is a use it or lose it thing. If you dont practice all the time your marksmanship suffers. Like golf. Play three times a year? You suck. Three times a week? You are a ringer. Or should be.

Guns:

G29 Gen 5
G22 gen 4
G35 Gen 3
G35 Gen 4 w/ Viridian red dot

I know it's the conventional wisdom, but I do not find the "perishable skill" aphorism to be necessarily true. In my experience, my marksmanship does not seem to suffer even after months of no range time.

Depends on what kind of shooting / drills you do. Like golf, your performance at a driving range shouldn’t vary much.

A challenging course… not so easy. Especially if you are using four sets of clubs and they are all different. Meaning… Multiple guns.
