Bah humbug!
I like my frogs and toads.
There are many around here at night making their noises.

One evening a huge toad looked like it was coming in the shop to attack me. This old toad was large enough to fill my hand. It kept bounding toward me for about 40 feet as I watched him wondering what was up. He was moving fast and focused on me and then about three feet before he got to me, he snapped out his long tongue like a snake and snapped up a bug or cricket in a flash. It happened so fast and that was one determined toad. He sat there for about ten minutes enjoying his dinner. After chowing, he politely left into the night.

It then dawned on me why I always had to shoe toads out of the shop before closing the doors at night and locking up. The bugs are attracted to the lights in the shop and then the toads start coming around for the easy pickings. Before that highly eventful evening, I thought for certain they were just attracted to me and enjoyed my company.

Hopefully that little dude survived and went on to tell the story of his flight for the rest of his days.
