Simple little project for a Friday evening... a painting stick for the AR lower.
Pretty self explanatory. Chunk of dowel rod (core from an old window blind), a piece of 1/4-28 all-thread, two nuts, and some wood glue. Tools - 7/32nds drill bit, 1/4-28 tap, saw and sandpaper. Cut the dowel to length, drill the hole in the end and tap it, put in some glue and thread the all-thread rod into the dowel. Presto, a handle that threads into the grip screw hole on the AR so you can keep from painting your hands while you paint your lower.
