Pedal to the Dremel!
Today was the first time I used the foot pedal switch for my Dremel. One of the things that bugged me before when drilling pin holes with the Dremel in the Workstation was the need to turn it on, using the switch on the Dremel. In the process of doing that, things (the jig and / or the Dremel / Workstation) can MOVE. And I can't re-line things up while the Dremel is running.
With the foot pedal switch, I can use both hands to get things lined up, do a few "test plunges" without the bit spinning... without moving my hands to turn the Dremel on.
And, then... when ready... Hit the gas! I made a video - coming soon!

But, here's a photo of the set-up.
Another key thing to do is get your Dremel / Workstation set up so you minimize potential pin hole drilling errors. One way to minimize errors is to reduce the distance the bit is traveling during the plunge stroke. Adjust the height (on the Workstation post) so the bit just clears the jig when the plunge arm is in the UP position... I'd say about 1/4-inch.
Then adjust this nut to set the limit for the plunge depth. You can move the jig to the side a bit to visualize how deep the bit will go at the limit of the plunge stroke (when the arm is drawn down all the way). I'd set it at about half-way through the thickness of the P80 frame. You don't want the bit to hit the opposite side of the P80 frame.
In the photo (right), it's a little past the halfway point. So, I re-adjusted it a bit higher (moved the set-nut a little lower).
I hope that made sense! I've got a video in the works!
