T'was just me and the missus this year.
We did get many incoming texts for TG wishes, one outgoing phone call, and the rest of the day was quiet.
Our kids have their last month or so of coast-to-coast trucking and are hanging it up for good after nearly 5 years of team-driving OODLES of miles. We won't see them until January 4th.
And I think this was our last Turkey today- she only cooked it BC I wanted one, but it's such a flipping hassle & work (and she kicked A$$ with all the good stuff included....we could have had 6 people over and it would have been no less work for the Thanksgiving Meal, though it was delicious. But TBH, neither of us are turkey hounds...I guess I am more than she is. She eats a lot of ultra-lean ground turkey with her meal plans.
Next year for TG the plan is: steaks...probably going to do that for Christmas next month, too. Or at the very most laborious- prime rib roast...but I doubt it.
