Article Link! I agree. The 70s, 80s, and even 90s were the best decades ever.

I fit squarely into this generation. My childhood was awesome and FREE. We had so much fun and it was SIMPLE fun. It cost nearly nothing to get on our bikes and ride off into adventure. We played games and sports OUTSIDE. ALL DAY.

And even as a young adult in the 80s and 90s, I had FAR more certainty and positivity than I do now. I had more certainty sitting on a combat ship in the Persian Gulf in 1990 than I do now. That's saying something, and it's NOT an exaggeration.

This is well-written. Click the "show more," and check it out.

Some will argue, "Everyone thinks their generation's youth was the best."

My youth was OBJECTIVELY MUCH better than my own children's in terms of the CULTURAL ENVIRONMENT.

My kids were forced to suffer through the COVID HOAX. They missed school. They missed social interaction. They were told to be masked. They couldn't see friends. FOR FUCKING YEARS. THE formative years!! It affects them to this day, even though we were able to keep them fairly sheltered from the bullshit by giving them REAL information and showing them how the media and government were LYING to them.

My generation didn't have to stress about "pronouns" and politically correct speech which is a moving goalpost now. My kids had to worry about what they said at every turn.... lest they "trigger" the wrong people.

And they couldn't get on their bikes and ride off to unknown whereabouts like we did. It's simply not safe anymore. Our parents had NO IDEA where we were or what we were doing. But we were having a blast and made it home safely by sunset. Our parents didn't worry about something bad happening to us.

We ran around with BB guns! As kids! OPENLY! Imagine that today!?? LOL! Yes, we were FREE then. Not today, though!

No. We definitely had it WAY better overall. We had NONE of the societal and cultural STRESSES that today's young people have.

That all said, my kids were still raised right (with two parents) and are now happy productive young adults. But will they ever be able to buy a house?

Right now... MANY young adults openly state that they do NOT want children. And that includes both of my children. They're still young, and there's time. But the prevailing attitude out there is going childless. That's not good folks. Yes... this one is Newsweek. But there are TONS of similar articles. And they're not wrong.

Meanwhile the Muslims are cranking out 10+ kids per family. o_O

And our politicians are supporting those evil broods with OUR tax dollars.

Just remember, The Children of your Enemy Grow Up to be your Enemy!
This is why I don't give a shit about "the poor starving children" from other cultures/countries... 🤷‍♂️
