It’s still white pellets. When you mix the catalyst it becomes grey. I’ve shot plenty but never closer than 50 yards for 1/2 lb. And further for larger canisters. Also never blowing up objects. We’ve all seen the refrigerator door and lawnmower videos.

I can't tell if it's white vs gray in that photo. Too far away and the labels block most of the viewable area.

I've shot tannerite before, too. But it was 100 yards away. These morons were at a 10-yard range.
