I'm in the VA hospital!

“Sponge you long time”?

Norty. Just Norty. Here’s to hoping they can find nothing critical with you, brudda.

FWIW when my dad was here it really hurt my wife’s heart with the stress- so much she thought she was having a heart attack. Thankfully after the myriads of tests they all came back negative, we sent him packing and she’s fine now.

Racer, we’re praying for you here. Lewi’s input about activity is so important as it’s easy to couch spud or sit at the workstation all day. FWIW, my wife joined a gym and I did right after she did. It’s IS good for you. Just don’t bite off too big of a chunk at first. Ask me how I know…took over a week for my shoulder and bicep to heal. Snort. I won’t do that again….WARMUPS and stretches pre-workout are 💯% mandatory at our ages. Non -negotiable.

Get the wife to order one of these and sneak into your room after your roomie nods off.
Get rid of all that stress before your test tomorrow. ;)

Now THAT's therapeutic. BUT you'll have to kick out the other guy.

Racer88 what's the status of the apparatus?
I worry about you even if the banter is
light hearted.

I got yer crack right here.
;)
Waiting for my turn on the treadmill now.
I was a non exercising smoker in my 30s and went through all that stuff and running on the treadmill was the worst for me. Trying to get my heart rate up to whatever it was they wanted to see and it just hovered about 10 BPM less. Keep going, speed up,..... Aaaaarrrrgghhh.

Ventricular ejection fraction was 70%. Normal is 55 - 70%, so I got a perfect score!

My max heart rate hit 162 bpm, which is 102% of target. So, I got extra points there!

Conclusion: My heart is "strong like bull!"

Glad you are home! Probably not as glad as you are though.
Four full days there! Ugh! But my roommate and I got along well and became friends. We helped each other distract ourselves from the boredom and unpleasant aspects of being in the hospital.

Good news!
I'll bet you'd like to get a little trigger time in after being in drydock. 😋
