Question Joggers, cyclists, etc... Do you carry while exercising? If so, how?

My brother in law is AB Positive. When he was drafted for VN and had his physical and blood test, someone mentioned to him that he could end up getting his own blood back. Only 3% of all humanity has that blood type.

I'm O Positive. I can drink anything.
I'm AB+ aka "universal recipient."

I may have misunderstood him on the type. His impression was just about nobody has his blood type and he's 'incompatible'. Biology is not my area of expertise!

The most rare is AB-, as I recall.

Do you have any personal experience with wearing the Kenai chest rig with a day pack or larger pack? I've had a tough time working out a comfortable carry with my variety of packs.
I've worn the Kenai with large and small backpacks. Also sling bags. My day/hiking pack is an Osprey Talon. Back country/big pack is a Granite Gear. I have two Kenai's. One for my Ruger Alaskan 454 Casull and the other was more recently added for my Glock 20 10mm. I prefer a chest rig over belt holsters and thigh rigs when I'm hiking or riding an ATV. Normally, I only use the chest rig when in bear country. While on elk hunts or bighorn, when the ATVs could go no further, it was a day's hike over rough terrain to get to a camp. I hardly knew the gun was there. The Kenai is very comfortable. Wide straps, very adjustable, light weight, retention is awesome. I don't care for big, heavy leather holsters. An ounce feels like a pound on a challenging hike.
