NGD: buckshot delivery service

No, the 1301. Echelon already has a very visible front sight. It fits the M4/1301, hence the wrench.

FWIW, Night Fission is the branding on the blade, but that company does NOT (as of yesterday, anyway) offer it. Only at Blitzkrieg that I have found.
Good find! I like the chevron

BTW- those square spacers you see in the package with the front sight, are for the Benelli M4, but not used with the 1301.

Thanks! FWIW, I'd found this on a tip online where someone had installed the chevron sight and a circular hood that was an option, and he'd painted the hood circumference a flourescent orange- too much for me, but for his failing eyesight worked for him. Anyways, I went to the Blitzkrieg website (Benelli/Beretta parts) to see what else they offered, and, VOILA, found that nice front sight blade that I purchased. So far they only offer the blade in green. But the Chevron they offer in Red, Green or Yellow with or WITHOUT a tritium dot.

It is said green is more visible when there's some light. Red is better in darkness. I'm not a huge fan of Tritium sights. Especially on pistols. There's no handicap for having Tritium. I simply consider them overhyped and expensive. My opinion is as follows:

Question: If it is too dark to see plain iron sights 12 inches from your face.... what are you shooting at?
Honest answer: I'm not sure.

Many moons ago I did some shoot house/CQB training in darkness. It's very difficult. One exercise was to extract a hostage. Even professionals screw up and occasionally shoot a team member or the hostage. Or hesitate and get killed. Simulated of course. Avoiding all that is the purpose of this type of training.

On a firearm used for home defense, which should always be fitted with a light... I concede Tritium sights might make a bit more sense and help align your shot in a dark environment.

correction- the spacers are NOT for the Benelli M4, OR the Beretta 1301 Tactical Mod 2, but for other variants that the sight fits. (FYI)

I installed a Blitzkrieg front sight on my Kel-Tec Sub-2K.

And I had the sick feeling when removing the OEM post that installation was going to be the real challenge…oh yes it is. That little black nut with the shakeproof washer on one end goes on real nice in theory….try putting that sucker back on in that little enclosed space. Will update when done.

The Grand Wazoo recommends Zircon encrusted tweezers. The heavy duty kind.

Heavy Duty Judy’s?

I have already commandeered tweeters last night for today’s exploits. Hemostats were too cumbersome. These are not, however, zircon encrusted…but I think the missus has a set of those onhand. Thank you, oh Grand Wazoo! Hehe

Just be sure to use the harvest between your teeth and not between your girlfriend's (or BOYfriend's ) legs as apparel! ;)

Grabbing my wife’s favorite pair of precision tweezers was a wrong move.

I realize that now.

That’s nice! Metal tube AND clamp set?

Was that from arnzenarms.com? That's quite nifty. Want list updated.

Do you have a link for that specific kit? (there are a few variations) Thanks!
