I took the girls out this am and ran them hard. Now they need a bath. Consistent 2.5 inch groups at 25 yards. The longer of the two with the HEX was slightly better, but only a 1/4 inch. I had help today and decided to use the timer. The Failure to stop drilling (a.k.a. Mozambique) was consistently 2.5 seconds. It is said that a decent par for the average shooter in that drill is five seconds. So there's that. I can do it a little faster with a lighter gun.
Two thumbs up for the Crossbreed Rogue, which can be worn either IWB or OWB. The latter in this case but I have both sets of clips. The Prodigy is way too big to wear inside the belt though. It's principally a race gun so I'm not sure why anyone would.
As substantial as the Prodigy size and weight-wise is I was delighted with the tight groups in spite of the added challenge of firing off the draw. My goal, as I have mentioned a million times is not tight groups. It's hitting those two 6-8 inch circles - center mass and head - consistently and as fast as possible. But since these are mainly match guns I decided to measure the groups just for shits and grins. I was feeling pretty studly afterwards.
