Nah, you’re not evil. ‘Bout like the rest of us, been listening to all there crap over ten years now. Them spewing the same old hate rhetoric over and over has poisoned a lot of minds. Normally good folks are believing the lies and it’s turning us against one another. That’s evil. Just sayin.

I personally know a few democrats and they are good people. Their political leanings are hereditary, but from what I can tell is they only listen to the leftist news media. So there you are.
To me it’s like saying they were born Methodist, Catholic, or whatever never asking any questions or doing any research into other views. We call them yellow dog democrats, they’ll vote for anyone with a D after their name.
You are right about the party not being the same as a generation or two ago. I have heard that a lot the last few years. Now they are all about power and control.

Lifelong Dems are secluded in a bubble that they don't even realize exists. They only hear opinions and stories from one side, unless they search out other points of view. My sis-in-law is a "conservative" who lives in Portland, OR. She is conservative by PNW standards, but not nearly as conservative/libertarian as me and my wife. She didn't believe me that the "news" she watches in the PNW has a strong leftist slant and that it is different that the news broadcast in other parts of the country. When she came to visit us in South Carolina, she was shocked to see the truth. The news she watches at home is far more left than anything we get here in the East Coast. VPNs are great, as they let you watch content as if you were located in different areas of the country and the world. Anyone who thinks there are not thumbs on the scale to shape the narrative is just not paying attention.
