“HEALTHCARE IS A FUNDAMENTENTAL RIGHT”? THEN APPLY THAT LOGIC TO EVERY OTHER RIGHT AND WATCH IT COLLAPSE.

Bernie Sanders keeps shouting that “healthcare is a fundamental right” — and therefore the government must pay for it.

But if that were true, then EVERY fundamental right would require government funding.

And the moment you apply his logic consistently, it falls apart like wet cardboard.

Free speech is a fundamental right.
Does the government owe you a microphone, a sound system, a printing press, a podcast studio, billboard space, and a full-time PR staff?

Freedom of religion is a fundamental right.
Does the government have to build you a church, pay the pastor, buy your Bible, finance your choir, and send you to Jerusalem every Easter?

The right to self-defense is a fundamental right.
Where is my taxpayer-funded Glock, AR-15, ammo supply, shooting range membership, holster, safe, home security system, and body armor?

Due process is a fundamental right.
Does the government owe me a dream-team lawyer, investigators, expert witnesses, appeals specialists, jury consultants, and hotel rooms during trial?

Privacy is a fundamental right.
So is Washington now required to buy me encrypted phones, VPNs, shredders, cybersecurity software, noise-canceling gear, and anti-surveillance devices?

If Bernie’s logic were real, America would need a Department of Free Stuff just to hand out the equipment required for citizens to exercise rights we already possess.

Here’s the truth Bernie refuses to say:

**Rights do NOT require government funding.

Rights require government restraint.**

A right means the government can’t interfere.
It does not mean the government must purchase, produce, or provide.

Bernie’s argument takes the word “right” and twists it into an excuse for:

• massive taxation
• federal control
• bureaucratic rationing
• ownership of people’s labor
• redistribution disguised as morality

Healthcare is important.
But calling it a “fundamental right” is political sleight of hand — a rhetorical trick to justify turning taxpayers, doctors, and hospitals into government-owned resources.

If your “right” requires someone else’s labor, someone else’s money, and someone else’s compliance, then it is not a right.
It is forced redistribution wrapped in emotional language.

Stop letting politicians redefine “rights” to mean “whatever I want the government to buy.”

Because once the government controls your “rights,”
it controls you.
