This was the 2nd time I've recently seen "elbows up, Canada" and I had no idea what it means. So I googled it. According to google it's a hockey term describing a method to protect yourself from other players. My son was a very serious hockey player for years.... accordingly, so was our family. I have NEVER heard that term in hockey.
Never ever heard that term in the 10 years we were DEEP in the hockey world.
