Just curious if Im the only 1 that feels this way.
I know there were some plants, CI's etc back in the 90s and early 2000s. AK forums and FalFiles.
I did a build party at my warehouse 2x. Several Alphabet boys and local PD showed and built AKs and FALs, I keep in touch with a few still. We had over 100 participants show each time. We did ask/escort a couple off the property for stupid behavior.

My concerns are the lunatics looking to do bad things and using US to collect knowledge to further their goal of doing bad things.
How do we govern ourselves with zero face to face meetings?
This concerns me.

Who are "ourselves?" The American people? Gun owners? This forum? What are you concerned about?

Thomas Jefferson said something to the effect of, "I prefer dangerous Liberty to peaceful slavery." Freedom is naturally dangerous.

I'm confused! Are you worried about bad guys coming to your build parties? Bad guys coming to this forum?

Criminal informant.

When you do it online there are no safeguards and almost endless liability. Blue state prosecutors will bend and manipulate laws, even makeup ones that don’t exist, and you will be forced to defend yourself in criminal or civil court if someone you trained did something nefarious. Look what happened to the most powerful man in the world in the state of NY. It’s a stretch that you would be convicted criminally but in a civil trial anything can happen and does.

If you are doing anything that is not readily available from multiple online sources, it would be prudent to consult an attorney about potential liability and legal issues.
 
Im wasnt referring to CI and Feds online. That doesn't bother me. More the merrier.
Its the bluehair basement dwellers that concern me.
Early on it was still a smallish community, someone actually knew you. Once or twice a year make a trek somewhere outa state for a meet etc.
Now no one knows anyone. I have seen in hunting/shooting forums people ask some odd and precise question. Mostly they get red flagged and you wont see them again.
