Our first two builds (GST-9 w/ HGW flush cut barrels & bullnose slides, KM Tactical LPK's, Speed Sights, homemade TalonGrips) Yes mine are boring and unimaginative:
The next project- this G26 and its twin (not pictured) OEM LPK, HGW Completed Slide, TruGlo TFO, OLIGHT BALDR Mini, SI EMP+2:
Same frame, but replaced the HGW slide and barrel w/parts from Alpha, TruGlo TFO Sights (they sent me a TiN bbl instead of stainless, but it's grown on me it now...TiN Trigger next?):
Here is a P80 PF940C w/ HGW slide (a SI LITESLIDE is in transit right now and will have a Burris FF3 RDS) OEM LPK, Hogue Handall grip, Agency Sentinel Magwell, I may remove the Hogue and try a TalonGrip on this one and it might feel more acceptable:
last of my boring monochrome projects a pair SC's done a couple of weeks ago (OEM LPK's, Alpha Completed Slides, Vickers, TruGlo TFO sights, Talon Grips, SI EMP+2):
Though not interesting like many of your wonderful builds, I kept these to utilitarian function while concentrating on build quality & dependability itself and not draining the bank in the process. A few key "musts" IMO, Parts upgrades are Vickers Tactical mag Release and Slide releases; OEM RSR's (yes, many aftermarket G26 RSR's just don't cut it and these just work)...and though the pics don't show it on the last pair of G26's, The TalonGrips were removed and Hogue Handall Beavertail grip sleeves (for G26) installed that, IMO are essential on the P80 G26 variant. So much better at taming double and triple-tap squirm in the hand. And yes, all our G26 mags have the SI EMP+2 mag extensions for the pinky to grab on. Makes quite a difference in handling, as well. Now they all (but one) have the Cross Armory slide locks. The cobalt P45 (not pictured and in process) has a GlockStore Slide lock and OEM LPK.
These were all built with two clear intentions beyond exercising our 2nd amendment rights: range/sport, and self defense and I didn't want a lot of bling to draw attention if any of them need to be produced in earnest. We're not shooting any tournaments or anything like that, either, so no raceguns here.
But would sure like to have Shogun work over one of my Subcompacts to look like what he's recently displayed. Probably not in the budget (yet!) but it's SO flippin' cool. But I digress as I need a bib. Heeharrhee.
