Yuge! Vets- get rated for all your disabilities

Once you get your C&P done and the Doc sends the DBQ back to the VA. He’s not going to care about you and may not even remember you. C&P your simply a number. Once the paperwork is gone you’re good to go. Check the status of your claim at VA.gov. It’ll show if the DBQ has been sent to VA. Normally within 1 week after your exam. Get your groceries before C&P them watch for the letter in your file.
You are such a Californian 🤣

In Montana we talk to each other.
If I do run into her she will definatlly say Hi and ask how I am doing.
To be fair, I will ask her the same thing as she is also rated for knees and back from the Air Force.

Thanks to people fleeing the coast for the free states my nearby "large" town now has about 90,000 people, and still just 4 grocery stores, and 1 walmart to get groceries from.

I just got this by email:

Unfortunately, because my "ID.me" account has been suspended with no explanation and no response to my support ticket... I have no idea what the decision was!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaagh! A quick decision, so I don't know if that's good or bad... and I can't find out! WTF?!??

Wow, that's quick! I should hear something on my back and knees soon - I hope.
Well... it was quick, but I have no way of finding out the decision! I can't log in.

I have to wait for ID.me to fix my account, and who knows how long that will take.

Try login.gov instead.

When I was on my initial call to verify that I knew how to login id.me was having issues so I quickly setup login.gov

I tried to create an account. Unfortunately, their website does not work. Seriously. There's a part where you have to add a photo of your ID. I can't get it to work. I can't upload a photo, nor does the "take a photo" function work. I can click on either one, and nothing happens. Holy fuck. Doesn't work on my phone or my laptop.

Wow, that sucks! It's been over a day since I did mine, so I cannot remember how I got it working. I *do* remember it was a pain to get the ID thing figured out.

Update... tried a different browser (Edge instead of Firefox) and it worked!

I got a 10% rating! :)

I attended a C&P Live call today - the guy was a schmuck.
Kate in her exam prep video says things like "when you park in the examinner's parking lot don't jump out of your vshicle and run to the door if you are claiming knee and back pain"

He's telling me to take an uber. Yeah, good luck finding one in rural Montana. I'm 12 miles out of town for this appoingment, and 80 miles from the next one.

Even if I convinced the examiner that the pain is so bad that I cannot drive how would I explain how I manage to get groceries? We have 4 grocery stores, so the odds of running into the examiner in one of them are not really low.

I'm going to try a call again on Wednesday.
Apparently this schmuck is the ony one doing these live exam prep calls.
He thinks I should drive 79 miles towards my next appointment and then take an uber the rest of the way, but also "DON'T TAKE YOUR CELL PHONES IN WITH YOU"
Yeah, how they hell would someone call for an uber to get back?

Also he says "write this down" and then goes so fast no one can writh it down, I askes the helper to type it out and he said "We will do that at the end" - of course he didn't

He also says stuff like "If you wear a back brace or knee braces and they ask you to take them off, don't do it, ask them to do it. Say that your wife or husband puts them on for you" and then stuff like not to lie to the examiner, so - no wife, no husband, no signifigant other, just lie and say someone else helps us.

I'd have asked for my money back if I would have had to deal with him before I got my claims filed

Got my first check today! Woohooooo! Gas money! :)
There are a bunch of secondary claims to tinnitus. Can possibly get up to 100% by chaining various conditions together. 50% gets you free healthcare & medicine at VA. 100% free dental plus a near 4K a month. I’m not keen on nexus letters. VA knows all the bs companies that write. Better to print out DBQ and discuss with your Dr. for signing.

Also go to Dr and complain about any of the listed 2nds and get DX in med records. That should be all that’s needed to file 2nd. Medication will help as well. Must be diagnosed (DX) before claiming. Once you get DX and meds… VetComm can help with 2nds. That cost $500. Well worth additional cash when rated. It’ll be paid on 1st check.

Put in your ITF (intent to file) now. You have 1yr to file. Rating will be back paid to ITF date.

Check it out:

If you don’t like the rep. Contact VetComm customer service tell them about bad service and ask for another rep to help you. VetComm fires people that don’t do their job.

I had a one on one, and I did call and ask for follow up before my hearing test on Monday - where I had to drive 80 miles, and he wanted me to just park somewhere and get an Uber.

She checked and agreed that I can actually drive myself to the appointment.

I did still go looking like a homeless bum though.

Now when I go on Loyal's website I have no planned, Schedules, or Completed appointments, even though I've done two so far.

Weird. C&P should be listed on provider site. Go to Va.com & check your claim. It will say if they received DBQ yet. Also will show how far along claim is should be at least at 3.

Some claims take longer than others depending on the work load the VA rater that has your case.
