High polished another. It feels so good in the gun. Almost like running a bearing instead of a barrel. It racks so nice - so smooth.

What’s killing me is they don’t answer emails, and even though I’m signed up, I don’t receive the sale emails. They also sent a g19 fluted barrel instead of a g26 fluted barrel. I’d be hacked off, but it was damn cheap and I actually needed both.

Like when I get an email that an item was shipped a week ago but it is still in pre-shipment status. I'll put up with it as the deals are fantastic.

When you buy a $15 blem barrel, you can't be too critical. I bought some of their full price barrels. They were in the $30-50 range. Yes, the rifling is not like a $200 Barsto, it is rough but better than $15 blem. The $15 barrel shoots just fine and don't have to worry about it being too tight to cycle. It's loose and works in everything. Sometimes I am perfectly happy to give up the last 1/2" of accuracy for reliability.

When I go crazy with the barrel budget, a $50 Aim Surplus barrel is hard to beat.

Edited: the barrel was $15. 14.99 actually.

I spit my coffee out. You, my friend, are cheaper than me and I didn't think that was possible. You are right, they are hard to beat for the price but Dvor.com has some smoking deals from time to time too.

Dvor? You have to join up. I'm not a joiner.

I can hit the 10 ring, 3 shots-<3 seconds with a $12 barrel. Would I do better with a $300 barrel? If I measured my groups with a micrometer, maybe. I get a barrel, a fancy cup of coffee, lunch and a 1000 rounds of ammo for the price of a fancy barrel.

Every time I go to the range, I see people with $1000 pistols that can barely hit the paper. I don't count their holes vs. rounds fired but I would bet it is not the same number. Last outing, a guy was shooting his AR-15. I glanced at his target because it was at the same distance down as my target. My groups were better by far and he was shooting a rifle. I guess the bullets didn't have time to settle  After I put enough rounds in the center, I will shoot at some point on the right, top, bottom and left. It's pretty obvious, my contribution to being more green. His rounds were evenly spread all over the target so I don't think he was trying that.

Years ago, I was at the range with a friend. He was showing off his new Makarov. I knew this design to be pretty accurate because of the fixed barrel. He gave me a mag to try it out. I fired one round to see where it hit, then fired the rest of the mag. As I pulled the target in he started laughing at me because there was one hole in the target center. This particular target had a miniature scoring target legend for scoring instructions at the top right, about 3"X3". I politely suggest he look at the scoring target. Six holes in that. F you was all he said.

Nah, no cost. Just give your email and they will send you coupons and deal notifications. It's basically the liquidation site for Optics Planet.

I have a few combat armory barrels, they seem to shoot consistent, never had any issues with them

Yeah, but who wants to give OP money if they can avoid it? Plus when it first started, the deals were pretty meh. Has it improved since inception?
