What ya listening to?

Fleetwood Mac's "Rumors."
Michael Jackson Thriller

I'm not saying Thriller was as good of an Album as Rumors. I'm saying Thriller was one of those albums that almost every song got radio play and made the top 100.

Been listening to Christmas tunes on YT premium this afternoon...one new channel I found is pretty cool. So retro, and the music is wonderful. Lots of songs I'd never heard before. All crooners/easy listening mind you, but simply excellent. "Cozy 1950's Christmas Ride". Very beautiful crafted visuals. Somebody must love 1957 Chevrolet BelAire's as they are all over in this channel, with a few other variants sprinkled here and there.

Been a huge Saga fan even since I saw them tour with RUSH many, many years ago. I think I have 3 of their albums. Just a GREAT band, and the singer is so distinct and commanding in his delivery. EXCELLENCE!!

I had that album (LP) back in the day. Lost all my LPs in a house fire.

Audio Streaming. I have the Hi-res stuff.

I quit Apple music when they stopped allowing you to download (and physically own) your own music (files). Not cool. I am NOT a fan of "streaming."

I too rather would own it. That's why I buy 4KHD Blu Ray discs. I want to HAVE the copy I own, (Just like sliver)

Look into Tidal. It's NOT Apple Music. I know you can download music to any storage you have installed in your streamer. So go check it out and see what you think. Today's streaming has eclipsed the quality of Vinyl (gasp!) and I know that's blasphemy....I'm an analog guy....but it is what it is.

We tried "streaming" movies several years ago. It absolutely SUCKED. Tons of freezes. Pixelated. Absolute SHIT. Never again.

That WOULD suck eggs through a screen door.

It certainly depends on your internet speed. We can stream 4K HD movies here very well, but the audio for the movies, though very, VERY good isn't as good as off a BluRay due to bandwidth limitations. So we're building our 4K HD BluRay disc collection. But if you have a digital download of a 4KHD movie, it rocks. (like in Kaleidescape systems, etc)

Tidal is for streaming audio, not movies. I've never had one glitch in the three months we've had it.
