Any Sub-2000 fans out there?

Ah, so it's not folding. It's a break-down model. Yeah... not interested.
The Ruger/Magpul...I can put that together, insert a mag and be ready to shoot in under 5 seconds. Sometimes I'd take it on a trail hike. Just toss it in the backpack. Not too heavy. My original intent was to have that with me if I encountered a cougar, which was not that unusual for hikers. Where I am now, the only cougars I run into have two legs and wear a lot of makeup.

Nah... I'm going to "make do" with my Sub 2K. I think my next gun will be the FNH PS90.

Cool gun. Radical design. 5.7 is something I have not dived into yet. It interesting but am reluctant to add and stock up on yet another another caliber. If you get the PS90 you have to get the accompanying pistol to complete the set!

I thought the 5.7mm would catch fire and gain more acceptance than it has. The original purpose as you probably know was to develop a small arms round that would penetrate body armor. The commercial/civilian 5.7x28 ammo wont do that. On purpose.

I read someplace that selected law enforcement and NATO are using 5.7x28. But it has not replaced the 9mm as was originally intended. Maybe it will but I don't think anytime soon. 9mm is so entrenched now that would be a long haul and very expensive.

Already got that... years ago. I also bought several PS90 50-rd mags when they were on sale for a good price and there was a push to ban such magazines.

Yep. Another downside is the cost of the ammo.

Yeah, I don't see that happening, either.

It's an interesting round. It's SUPER-easy to shoot. Recoil is almost non-existent. My wife likes shooting this pistol the most. The pistol, even loaded with a full magazine, is freakishly lightweight.

I need the PS90 to round out my FNH "family!"

I have a 509C and a Reflex. That's the extent of my FN collection. The 509 was a gift from a client. Nice gun. I'd be hard pressed to make an argument that any compact nine is better. The quality is obvious. And I ❤️ the Reflex. Excellent small carry gun.

FNH makes some neat (if not expensive) stuff.
