I was shooting with a guy the other day and someone asked his age and we were amazed when he said "79, soon the be 80". :eek: This guy runs a gun pretty good and is not age-gimpy that I noticed. Likes his 45ACP 1911s and revolvers. ;) If I were to guess his age I would have guessed 65-69. I could probably pass for 50-55. I'd rather look (and feel) younger than older. :)

Conversely, somehow the girl at the local "7-11" was talking about her kids and her age (34) and all I could think was "DAMN, girl--you've let yourself go!" :( I've known drug addicts in their late 20s that looked 40+ and some in their early 30s that looked 50+. :(

Also... smoking and drinking age a person a LOT more. My 40th high school reunion... Holy shitballs! Who are these old people??? I felt pretty good about myself!

I would say that military service does that too, but the truth is military service causes drinking and smoking, which leads to premature aging.😁
