Decisions.. G19 gen 5 or Wilson/Sig P320

My understanding is that the MOS mill is a proprietary design, which then comes with various adapter plates for the various RDS footprints on the market. Holosun makes one specific RDS model that is a direct fit to the Glock MOS slide (without an adapter).
That's what appears to be the case as you state it Racer88. Thanks. I'd really like to avoid that adapter plate usage and the extra RDS height involved in doing so...for the sake of using my IDOT sights and not having to use the higher-profile Supressor-height units for a co-witness. First world problems, for sure...

Yep, that Glock performance trigger is indeed "Gen5 only"...as I've not seen the gen5 internals vs gen3 goodness knows what that entails, or if it's adaptable.

Then you might check out the Holosun SCS sight:

It mounts directly to the MOS slide without an adapter plate. So, the stock Glock sights "cowitness" and provides a very nice low profile.

I have gen 5 trigger housings & trigger bars with gen 3 Apex or Tango Down trigger shoes in most of my builds. I don't see why the Glock performance trigger could not be made to work in a gen 3. Does anybody have part numbers for the performance trigger setup? It sounds like something worth trying.

I am intrigued. Midway has them in stock so I ordered 1.

If you're seeking to try and make this work in a P80 frame, thanks for taking one for the team. I will be eager to see how it works out.
The whole trigger selection process appears to be like a lottery match and you hope you land on the right numbers.

I think you will find the plastic frame wedge is going to be thinner longitudinally on the Gen4/Gen5 trigger assy than the Gen3...

Johnny Glocks has a video talking about putting the Glock performance trigger in gen 1 - 4 guns. I noticed neither of the guns he showed had slide stop levers installed. Gen 5 has an ambi slide stop that surrounds the trigger so I know something will need to be modified there although during the parts drought I ran a gen 5 trigger shoe in a gen 3 for a while. He does have the gen 1 - 4 listing on his website but it shows "unavailable" at the moment. I have some Lone Wolf frames that are made for gen 4 & 5 trigger housings, that will be the first place I will try installing the trigger when I get it.
