Not very uplifting but certainly revealing…

“Woke” is not “hypersensitivity to bigotry.” It’s an inherently Marxist worldview that assigns guilt, not based on the facts of a particular case, but on the intersectional grievance matrix of the parties involved.

Truer words were never spoken. Good post.

No matter what heights you achieve in life... financial success, sacrifices made, valor, charity, good will, faithfully serve, and so on... there's always going to be some dickhead who accomplished nothing besides taking up space that criticizes or judges you because they have nothing else to offer the world.

It can take a lifetime to learn to ignore those idiots and focus on what's really important. Your family and circle of friends. Perhaps your community. I gave up a lot of family time, sacrificed relationships, and put myself in grave danger so many times. Some may see that as a life full of adventure. Sometimes I do as well. A life well lived yet I often find myself wondering if it was all worth it. I'm undecided. I do believe in living in the moment. Not some future fantasy. It's what you do in the moment that matters.

If you are lucky, after a couple of generations nobody remembers you at all. So in the time that you have, I think it's best to not be an asshole. And focus on what's really important. Nobody can change the past. But one can decide to stop being an asshole today.

A little bit of Zen for the week.

I thought it was interesting that a high school kid would put the effort into learning the National Anthem and play it in front of a crowd. While not as intense as Jimi Hendrix, it was in the same spirit. Jimi Hendrix performed the Anthem at Woodstock. Not exactly a receptive crowd to that song yet they cheered.

The youth of America are coming around.

I figured that's what he was doing - but I could not recognize a single note. Maybe it was just the audio.

I don't know who the interviewer is, but just look at him. He screams "beta."

I am reminded of English and European culture dating back to the 1300s. The gentry, as they are called. Nobles who were "genteel, of good breeding, and virtuous". In some ways this was a good thing. Rules for how to conduct yourself in society. In other ways it allowed for a lot of faggoty men to be ... well ... faggoty. It was considered an insult to be accused of not being a gentleman. Anyone who was lowborn was looked down upon no matter what his or her character and integrity may have been.

There's nothing new about men being pussies or allowing others to dictate who they are and how they should act. Those in authority today, including women, determine how a modern man should act and think.

What men have lost since boomers arrived is balls. Because it became unfashionable to have any. They produced a generation of boys who are afraid to be men and have no concept of self-reliance. Dependent sheep waiting to be told what to do. Mostly the educated, middle and upper middle class. Working, salt of the earth people. Not as much.

The people in our society who influence such things also lied to women, turning middle and upper middle class women into a bunch of unhappy, unfulfilled, irrationally liberal bitches. Women, some of whom are now beginning to realize that liberation really means spending your entire life working in an office under fluorescent lights to earn money, then give half of it to the tax collector and the other half to day care. Modern women now suffer thru their prime years as corporate drones with asshole bosses working for soulless corporations who don't give a shit about them. Above all, they fail to enjoy life with a husband and children. Just like men figured out half a century ago... congratulations Ms. Successful! You are a fucking drone and life has no joy or meaning.
