How hard IS it to build a 1911 from an 80% kit?

Incidentally… the hammer on mine was broken. The P6 was made for the West German police. The gun was fitted with this odd spur hammer to determine if an officer had dropped the gun. The hammer “loop” was designed to break if the gun were mistreated. Thus the hole and slit.

Armorer: Officer Hans, did you drop this gun?
Hans: Nein, Herr Armorer
Armorer: Ve have ways of making you talk
