The Monte Carlo was introduced for the 1970 model year. The retired Gunnery Sgt. that used to call our rifle matches used to tell us war stories in the barracks. He once mentioned some whore house in Bangkok he visited on R&R when he served in Vietnam. Something about 13 floors and you had to start at the first floor and work your way up on subsequent visits. Something like that. He wistfully reminisced that he never did make it all the way to the top floor. When I was a kid, I visited the Monte Carlo in Bangkok. They specialized in soapy massage.
