Idiot politician (D) stages dangerous "range day" photo op. Injures journalist.

So, Kunce... I mean Dunce.... was a JAG (attorney) in the USMC for 13 years. Nevertheless, "Every Marine is a Rifleman," so no excuse for such poor / dangerous / incompetent handling of firearms as he demonstrated (and was PROUD)!

Shouldn't this be in the Clowns With Guns thread?

Kinzinger was a Rino from Illinois and I believe Air Force. What the fuck are they doing shooting steel that close with AR’s? Doubtful those plates were rifle rated.

Yep.... that's the first thing we might notice. Extremely dangerous shooting steel targets at such close distances.

What else do you notice?

Let's zoom in a bit. What ELSE do you notice here? A lot to unpack here.

Where did you find this? What was the commentary? Inquiring minds.
On X. The comments are literally 100 critical, most of them calling them idiots / morons who should not be near any guns.

Here's his original post. I'm surprised it's still up. "A great day at the range!" Holy shit. A great day.

Shrapnel can always fly when you hit a target like today, and you’ve got to be ready to go.

Yeah... like that's "normal." Shrapnel can always fly. Yeah... when you're only a few feet away, it can injure you and others, ya fucking moron!

Two of them are military veterans. Kunce is a Marine. Kinzinger is former Air Force. Of course having been in the military does NOT mean you are trained with firearms. But, progressives would have us believe the only people that should have guns are the military and police.

Progressive is not correct. The correct term is American Communist.
Our doublespeak is grooming us for drone fodder.
I rant but I believe my point is valid.

Progress is important to any society but this kind is not progress, it’s pure evil

What other issues do you all see in these photos? There are some blatant ones.

Guys, I wanna play. I'm pretty sure Racer is waiting for someone to mention the tannerite. There's a few pounds of it there. Did they really shoot tannerite that close up?! Not to mention, using a belt as a makeshift tourniquet for a small cut like that. Do these guys really boast about being a Airman and a Marine? They do NOT deserve the title. There is more there going on, but I'll let others join in

Yeah... shooting from behind the tannerite on the bench - not smart. I would imagine a ricochet would not have the needed velocity to detonate the tannerite... but it might.

REALLY stupid. Colossally stupid.

And yeah... the tourniquet application is pathetically bad.

obviously a designated pistol area... I'm trying to fathom why an RSO would even allow rifles on that table.

The tannerite hasn’t been mixed yet, therefore it’s inert. As for the tourniquet, it looks like it’s just there to hold the gauze in place. Kinda like on TV when someone is fixing a shower head with a screwdriver.

Worst of alls is the massive hypocrisy, shooting the exact weapons that they would ban for us plebes.
