looking for an OWB magazine pouch that fits 10 round magazines for the glock43x and can fit 2.25 inch duty belt.

Under what circumstances when you are drawing a pistol do you need to be stealth?

you do not get to decide, who, what, when, where, why, and how the enemy attacks you, you absolutely, stone cold, flat fuck, absolutely have no control over that. you might find yourself needing to draw and point your weapon at a man as quietly as possible, you never know what you need to do, that's why it's better to have adaptable technology then non adaptable technology

if he already has the drop on you.

if he already has the drop on you and he isn't a complete mouth breathing retard and your guardian angle isn't looking then your gonna be dead, doesn't matter what you carry or what you prepare for.

Yeah... I'm not worried about the "click" the bad guy may or may not hear. It's more likely he will respond to my MOVEMENT rather than the noises I'm making. I suppose I could rip a fart to mask my drawing sound and distract the bad guy! ;-)

then your giving away the fact you exist lol

you may not always be part of the overwhelming force, you may not always have your holster,

if you are a private citizen that is carrying because you want to be prepared, you want a holster that is quiet not fast, comfortable not secure, covert, not overt, you can have the most secure, fast, holster with the greatest capacity gun in the world, none of that is gong to matter if you don't wear the thing and it's at home

ask yourself, what specific use case are you preparing for? what specific use case of violence are you preparing for?

i know what i'm preparing for, i want to be able to have a gun and holster that i can conceal, that is quiet, that is comfortable

i don't care about speed, i don't care about retention, i don't care about capacity, because none of that matters if my gun is at home

i guess my ears are better then yours because man that draw is LOUD
What? Speak louder. ;) LOL! I do have bad tinnitus.

I've been in this game (and gun forums) for quite a while. This is the first I've ever seen anyone mention the sound made by drawing a firearm from a holster. Seriously... I've been on gun forms for some 30+ years. First time.

> "i will never have to be quiet or use stealth, i will always be, or be part of, the overwhelming force, the violence i am involved in will always be to my overwhelming advantage"

ok bud
No need to get froggy. :) If I do have the occasion to be stealthy, I'm pretty sure I can draw from kydex very quietly... by going slowly. But, hey... holster preferences are very subjective. Most of us have the proverbial "box-o'-holsters" that we've tried and ended up not using.

you might find yourself needing to draw and point your weapon at a man as quietly as possible, you never know what you need to do, that's why it's better to have adaptable technology then non adaptable technology
True that such encounters are dynamic and unpredictable. But I dare suggest that the most likely scenario where we might need to "draw and point as quietly as possible" would be in a home defense situation.... a "bump in the night" situation. That would mean I'm not likely wearing a holster. I'd more likely be retrieving my weapon from a safe, a bedside drawer, or other container / location. How noisy is your safe? ;)

Angel. ;) Or maybe @Bongo Lewi does have a guardian angle! haha.... sorry.... couldn't resist! ;)

If the bad guy has the drop on you, it's no bueno. But with some luck and cunning... it is possible to prevail.

Of course, I agree with a "gun at home" not being of any use outside the home.

As they say, "Concealed means concealed."

I do care about speed, retention, comfort, concealment, capacity, accuracy, and reliability. I also care about training and practice. It all matters to me. Debating those things in the context of "gun at home" is a non-sequitur. They matter. Period. Whether you carry or leave it at home is an ENTIRELY different conversation on which we absolutely agree.

I have wondered myself if divine intervention is real. But I'm not sure. So I trained for 20 years on what to do just in case it isn't.

Paid off more than once. I've already chewed that cabbage here. I hate being repetitive. An important lesson I learned a long time ago is arrogance can get you killed faster than lack of skill with weapons or being unfit physically. Also, common sense is more powerful than bravado. Knowing what to do comes only from training. Lots of it.

“A gun is good. A knife is good. A stick is better than nothing at all, and your hands, arms, legs and muscles are to be relied on when nothing else can be. But, without your brain, without thinking and without cognizant awareness you are little more than an animal fighting for survival in a dangerous situation.”

You never know what kind of trouble you are going to run into at the local bakery. Rest assured his gear is comfortable because he didn't leave anything at home. Took the time to shave his legs too.

If it comes down to a fight over who gets the last chocolate babka, we know who is going to win:

He's wearing FOUR pistols.

Yep. If I were a bad guy robbing the bakery, he would get one in the melon before I shouted THIS IS A ROBBERY! GIVE ME THE BABKA!
But they just sold the last chocolate babka. They only have cinnamon babka. ;)
