Yes. Del Mar is just north of SD. I lived there for a while. Camp Pendleton is farther north than that. Probably about another 30 - 45 minutes, I'm thinking.

But yeah... all of the area is very nice!

And the last time I was IN SD was in High School (but was in or near the vicinity since numerous times)....lol. so forgive me the gross generalization of that area. Almost had me a blonde Rickenbacker 4001 that day in a music shop....ended up with a Kramer 450B. Because nobody had one yet. lol
