There are still 80% frames out there

According to Co-Pilot...

As for myself I don’t have any interest in paying that much for an unfinished frame when you can buy the real deal for not much more. LEO trade-ins can be bought for under $400, at times. Complete Daggers are on sale now for $349.99. Yeah, with shipping and transfer fees you add another $50, or so. To each his own. I just have better things to spend what little extra money I have. Just my own personal opinion.

I’d venture to say most of us that built when frames were at lower prices would not be interested in the current offerings. I got some kits so cheap I built a few and gave them away. There are a few coming in late to the game that may be ok paying the venders high price. This thread is a listing of venders for those peeps that come to the Patriot Gun Builders discussion to get information on building. 😊

Yep. The price is what it is now.... Supply & demand strikes again. I bet they'll be cheaper again in the future. While at these prices, you could buy a built gun cheaper, for many builders it wasn't about saving money or getting a cheaper gun. It was about building your own gun.

True, but when p80 frame kits were going for $149 I bought an oem G43 frame for $99. Granted they got cheaper but still most serialized frames like Dagger and the SCT models were still way under a hundred.

You've been around the community long enough that you probably already have a few 80% firearms laying around.

Some people new to the 80% community may wish to pay extra to have 1 or 2, maybe even a dozen😁 firearms that aren't on a list somewhere.

@DarrellF96 just posted some good info on another thread.
Good deal on bridge frames & some nice lookin rails at 5Dtactical
Use MD25 for 25% off. You can get a complete frame with rails for less than $60 each with discount code. One would have to pay me to take a 76% frame but for those who want to do the work it may be the best deal around considering the normal cost of the rails alone. These rails do work great so there's that.

I think my cheapest P80 frame was $60. I got several for under $100.

I remember getting blems for 50 bucks and not being able to find the blemish.

I forget who it was, I want to say USPA, but it could have been someone else, screwed up and put frames with no jig on sale for 25 bucks each. I and a bunch of other people ordered a shitload before they caught it and changed the price.

80p builder / freedom co. At one time used to offer insane sales on a full kits. I caught a couple flash sales $150 per kit…had to buy 3-4 to get the deal. The last of their stock is currently being sold by Zaffiri

Are unserialized frames still being sold? If so how do you add serial numbers to a frame?

I bought a couple of those $60 frames myself, kinda wish I had bought more. They didn’t have a jig or rails, but I already had that covered. A local gunsmith called and asked me if I had an extra 80%, he was doing a custom build for someone. He offered me $80 and I said “cool”. I think we both did ok on that. I didn’t really need the lower, just bought it ‘cause it was cheap.

The $60 - $70 frames I got were the full P80 package with jig, bits, rails.

The whole idea of an unserialized frame is that — there is no number on it.
If you’d like one with a number you’ll want an ATF compliant frame that’s sold through ffl.

Saw these frames on another post. Serialized- huge selection great deal

Our resource center has DIY on adding id on p80

Just wanted to know if no number frames are out there. I don't want another and have purchased a Dagger frame in the past. Not intending to sell mine ever.

Yes there are unserialized frames, just look at pg 4 of this thread. Several links to venders there that I and others posted.
You inquired about how to add a serial number ? Why would you want to do that ?

Not planning on anytime soon to add the numbers, etc. Just a question, thanks.
