It won't be long before criminals can open fire anywhere they want without having to worry about law abiding citizens stopping them.
Indeed.
Not to hijack the thread, but do you remember the pardon by the governor last month issued in Texas for the service member that defensively shot the BLM activist packing an AK-47? The activist was bragging about it only minutes before he was shot dead by the service member for allegedly pointing the AK at him while a clan of BLM'ers surrounded his car at a stop light. It was during the summer of love fests in 2020 during the election year.
Well 14 attorney generals have now sent a letter asking the DOJ in D.C. to pursue federal civil rights violations against him to basically amount to double jeorpardy with separate federal charges. These people want to use this guy as an example to others around the country that you will be pursued if you actually try to defend yourself against D.C.'s BLM street army funded with bricks, posters and money by Soros.
Here's the letter by the 14 generals and their opening paragraph
We write to urge the U.S. Department of Justice to open a civil rights investigation into Daniel Perryās killing of Garrett Foster on July 25, 2020 in Austin, Texas. At the time of his murder, Garrett Foster was exercising his First Amendment right to protest, as a part of broader protests against police brutality and racial injustice in the summer of 2020.

Here's a video of the dead guy shortly before being shot actually mimicking and challenging someone to act against him. In the background is the BLM summer of love ghetto music playing.

They want the guy convicted for this because he's
1. Military,
2. From Texas (a stand your ground, castle doctrine, CC carry state),
3. He shot one of D.C.'s street soldiers and brown shirts.
4. They want to prevent others from using their firearms in self defense by throwing them in jail.
It won't matter if you chamber a round or rack the slide for self-defense, we are moving to a society where you won't be able to defend yourself without going to jail no matter what state you're in whether it's Colorado or another state. Attorney Generals in other states will seek D.C. goons to add federal charges.
And finally, here's a document showing some of the evidence used to convict him in the freedom loving state with castle doctrine laws in place.
