WOTD (watch of the day) Thread. Post yours!

The G-Shock that started it all. My original plan was to get JUST this ONE!

Today, back to the new kid on the block:

The honeymoon continues! Love this watch. Probably my favorite G-Shock now.

I need more watches! As soon as they have one that can project a hologram of the death star I'm buyin' it!

Playing with the stopwatch (and hands shift) functions while walking the dog.
Looks good in the sun!

WOTD: The venerated Casio Duro.
Watch: $50.
Strap: $20.
IMO, the best value in the entire watch world. Amazing quality for the price.

This watch had to go out for warranty service, and it took months! I got it back yesterday. I missed it!

It's the Bulova Sea King. It's a 262 kHz quartz movement (vs the traditional 32 kHz). This makes for a very accurate watch that is typically less than +/- 10 seconds PER YEAR. It also features a smooth-sweep second hand (like an automatic watch) instead of the tick-tick of a traditional quartz.

It's a BEAST of a watch... at 49(w) x 55.5(L) x 14-mm and 154 grams. I think it's gorgeous! I like to call it the Sea Monster or Sea Beast.

It's also a "lume monster":

Bulova Lunar Pilot. Really neat watch. Replica of the prototype worn by Apollo 15 Mission Commander David Scott.

Commander Scott was wearing his NASA-issued Omega Speedmaster when the watch suffered a spontaneous “major malfunction.” The crystal popped out during EVA #2 (extravehicular activity a.k.a., “moon walk”).

He asked permission from NASA to use his personal back-up watch for EVA #3. Roger that, Falcon. His back-up watch was a Bulova prototype that didn’t make the NASA cut (OMEGA won the contract). The prototype was gifted to him by Bulova.

@Racer88 I'm curious, do they make a gun safe large enough to store this many watches? Or, did you have to add another outbuilding or room to your home?
At least you can negotiate with your wife by informing her that they're smaller than shoes and purses.

I'm going to need my own man cave / building to house my build tools and parts!
