Assuming you have access to a HF, I wouldn't be surprised if it is IN STOCK. The body is about as big as an angle grinder. If you can't hold it, maybe you clamp it in your vise and move the frame onto the blade?
Yikes... Like using a chainsaw... not conducive to fine work.

I think the ultrasonic knife will be more "elegant."

Ryobi carving tool. It's small and functions like a tiny power chisel. Battery powered.

My only complaint with the tool is that the blades are cheap. Mild steel that got dull pretty quick.

That was the best tool I found for finishing the pocket but even then I didn't like the outcome. The gun ran fine. I just hated the way it looked. It didnt meet my standards.

How about adapting something like THIS? $15 You can get all manner of blades for them. LINK If you had to, you could grind down a blade to fit in the pocket? You can also get the blades at Home DeLowe's, etc.

Not a bad idea as you can resize the cutting portion of the blade to make it smaller if need be. The hardest part is to cut along the front wall of the trigger pocket. The second hardest is to not go too deep in the trigger pocket. You could mark the depth on the cutting blade with a piece of tape based on a finished gun and use that as a depth guide. Cheap and easy method, I like it. Just use a tool that has variable speed, and it should work pretty well. You could make a few vertical plunges and then snip with those nice nippers you purchased.

I used that tool, as shown in my build posts,it works great. Fab your own blades. I’ve also listed mini sawblades that do well. Your micro mark sander is a must have. All these tools are great until it’s time to get deeper into that pocket…not one of them fit down in there. It’s slow going hand work with home brew & modified tools. Dremel is not the tool to use

Be careful. With a couple thousand invested in fancy tools, you might be able to finish one of these in 20 minutes and prove the assholes correct. Everyone knows criminals are going to invest money like that just to further break the law.

Everybody knows this takes two weeks:

I'm sure after 200 hours you can do it. :) Anything is possible given enough time and money.

It only took Michelangelo 3 years to complete David from a block of marble.
