WARNING: OT content! ;)

I've had a couple of the TA95s shown. That pic is the last TA95 TIG/Stick "kit" I owned but didn't need it so sold it ($300 profit!). It fit nicely into the shallow bin shown with welding blanket on top (not shown).

I still have the HF80 bought at closeout "purple tag" at the HF store for $20. :) The HF came with stinger but needed the work-piece (ground) lead so I repurposed half an old jumper cable and added a mini-Dinse connector. The TAs had a little switch for TIG but the HF did not and it did not matter. Pulled the (clean) briefcase out of the dumpster to repurpose it.

Scratch-start DC TIG no problem using the Weldcraft 9V shown. Hooks directly to the Ar regulator. Made an adapter to use it with the larger Dinse connector on my TA185.

This is cool as shit. TIG is my fav way to weld. It’s so clean and zero splatter… zen welding 😉

Still have one on my key chain, carried one that way for over 40 years! So I'm in the "geezer" class and proud of it! 🤠

What would be their band name?..."The Beer Belly 5".

Yet the power companies want you to curtail usage during peak demand to save electricity. I wonder how much leakage wastes if it is enough to make you tingle passing 50ft. below the lines?
