Ah, the "Revenge Shit".
Drizzle a little bacon grease on it and their dog will eat it, for the ultimate payback...

Not there yet. Luckily for me, the wife doesn't shoot.

Now wouldn't they howl if we suggested an app to rent a woman to do something domestic like this!

Not "stairs." It's a "ladder." There are no stairs on ships. 😛
That is true. But this is not a ship.
Would it be correct to refer to stairs in a residence as a ladder?

If the basement is accessed by something built to replicate the ladder of naval ship, then to me it should be called what it is, "A Ladder." ;)

I think the humor in that pic is that the steepness is not normally seen in residential basement stairs, but is seen in naval ships.
Did not intend to start an argument on naval protocol.

Actually, in the Navy, it doesn't matter if it's a ship or in a building ashore. There are no stairs. There are no "bathrooms," either. Even ashore, it's a "head." No floors... decks. And so on.

Not arguing.... just sharing Navy traditions.

I got the joke... the steepness of the stairs. :) Funny.

Basement stairs for you retired Navy peeps...

Navy peeps don’t use stairs (or ladders)… we skip that “step” altogether…we use the hand rail to slide down. Takes about 6 months of busting your arms, legs and head. But once ya get the technique down, can make it from the bridge to the hole in a few seconds. Very effective during a casualty.

It's a talent for sure!

And is quite effective at giving knee and back injuries!
