Breaking! Trump Admin Allows 'Forced Reset Triggers' for Guns

Breaking news!
You can buy an 80% glock clone frame from:

Or a Geisler:
I thought we were back to it not being legal to buy and sell 80% frames?

From what I understand, 80% frames must be serialized and the purchaser has to pass a background check.

The ATF just raided 3 of the most popular 3D gun designers. Didn't charge them, but did keep all their computers cellphones etc. Definitely sending a message.
What were the circumstances? They have to have probable cause. Can't get a judge to sign a warrant without it.

Law enforcement may confiscate your phone and computer (or related equipment) for evidence collection if there’s suspicion it contains information related to criminal activities, such as fraud, harassment, or possession of illegal content, as part of their investigative efforts to compile relevant data.

In more complex scenarios, your computer could fall under civil asset forfeiture laws, where it can be seized if there is a belief that the device was used in committing a crime or was acquired with the proceeds of criminal activities. In these cases, direct evidence linking you to the crime might not be necessary for such actions to be initiated.

They dont have to charge you just to get a warrant. But the chances are they already plan to charge you. Or they wouldn't bother with the warrant.

I spoke to one of the guys. He said they raided him and took all his electronics, but didn't charge him with anything. He wasn't arrested, nor detained. They did have a warrant, and took his 3D printers and computers, but didn't touch his guns, none of his 3D printed frames or parts..

That's really weird.

Depends on the state. Unserialized / serialized 80% frames and bridge frames are still for sale and builders are purchasing them. If your state allows and you can afford- go git em.

Here’s a post with a list of venders

He needs a lawyer.

I wonder.. fake cops? A ripoff? Just a thought. Far fetched but that would be a clever scam.

A warrant is very specific. They have to be clear on what they are looking for. Unless they observe something else that’s illegal while searching, they cannot confiscate other items. Whatever they seize has to relate to the warrant.

So… the warrant must have specified 3d printers and computers used with them.

I put a G-Flex trigger on a G17. Works like a binary. I found it great at blowing thru a lot of ammo really fast but not much else. Took it off and replaced it with a Timney. That was before I discovered Johnny Glock.

The operation of a binary trigger or similar function on a PCC or AR is relatively straightforward if you arent an unskilled doofus. The thing you have to learn is how to disable it when you need to stop shooting - when you have the trigger 'pulled'. On a pistol with no safety.... not as simple. It's manageable but like I said you cant be doofus who doesn't truly understand how the gun or the non-standard trigger works. Negligent discharge is pretty easy with these triggers.

I've read reviews and watched YouTube vides of full auto handguns. Mostly Glocks. Fun range toys, but that joy is fleeting. Accuracy goes out the window as one might expect. In my mind there just arent any scenarios where I'd want or need a full auto handgun. It's a solution looking for a problem. If you want to sling lead, get a subgun and put an FRT or binary trigger on it if that gives you a woodie. The better subguns are roller delayed and far more controllable in a full auto mode or simulating it with the aforementioned trigger alternatives. Scorpion , Stribog, or one of the Turkish HK clones are affordable. The triggers run about 350 bucks. Some more.

In case you ever imagine yourself being in a situation where you need to lay down suppressing fire so your ninja friends can take out a machine gun nest. And you showed up for the fight with a Glock 17. :)

No safety dingus. On a gun with no other safety. And one that can dump a 17 round mag in a 3 seconds.

What could go wrong?

He has a lawyer. His lawyer told him not to expect to get any of his confiscated things returned.

Like you, I have a lot of questions, but given his present circumstances, I'd rather not have lengthy conversations with him.

A lot, that's why it's best to use a 30 rd mag or a 50 rd drum, because if shits gonna go bad, at least you might make it onto Fox News.🤣
