Roth was indeed a great showman, but the voice he once had, albeit limited, is long, LONG gone. He yaps and barks now, so to speak. And Micheal Anthony did a number of those screams once attributed to Roth, and still has that signature sound that was a HUGE component to their VH signature background vocal sound, that carried-over through Sammy’s stint with them until Ed replaced Mike with Wolfie.

I saw Sammy twice in the 80’s, and it’s the first show I saw where I thought “that just kicked my ass “ seriously. High impact and he and his band brought the goods. He had his red trans-am onstage as a prop during those years:

I saw Hagar in concert in the 80s. He opened for Sabbath v2.0 (w/RJD, H&H tour). I think I'm going to dig out some of his early stuff on mp3... :)
 
Y'all might or might not, be interested in this JB LZE concert from just a few days ago.

While I was never a huge fan of LZ, I certainly like some of their songs, and of course, John Bonham's huge signature sounds, and Jimmy Page's production and studio prowess, and of course, John Paul Jones, who graced MANY 60's recordings before LZ with his fabulous bass talents.

LZE did a phenomenal job of bringing LZ's studio original recordings, LIVE.

Just discovered this guy.
A shit load of covers with no vocals so you can rock out on the guitar playing. So many that your favs are in there somewhere.

Never realized how beautiful a song Brothers in Arms is without the vocals.
